Calculator data

The quilt planner calculates in your browser. Its code does not send measurements to a server, add them to the address, log them, or save them in browser storage. Reloading the page clears the plan. Printing uses your browser's print dialog; you choose the printer or file destination.

Serving the site

Loading the hosted site makes requests to its hosting provider, Cloudflare. The provider receives normal connection information, such as an IP address and the requested address, and may process request logs for service operation and security. This project does not set a separate hosting-log retention policy. Fonts and calculator assets are served with the site.

Optional Google Analytics

The existing Google Analytics 4 integration runs only after saved acceptance, over HTTPS, on the exact approved live hostname, and only on the homepage. Analytics does not load on localhost, preview hostnames, or the quilt planner. No calculator interaction events have been added.

When enabled, Google receives a fixed homepage title, the homepage address without query strings or fragments, the referring website's origin when available, and standard browser and connection information including your IP address. Analytics cookies can last up to 180 days. Advertising consent remains denied; advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Your choice and storage

The consent choice is stored in localStorage under utility-site.analytics-consent.v1 until changed or site data is cleared. Before acceptance and after rejection, no Google analytics code loads. If the browser cannot save acceptance, analytics stays off.

Use the Analytics preferences link below to change your choice. Withdrawal stops tracking, removes this site's analytics cookies, and reloads an active analytics page. It does not delete information already sent to Google. A local rejection marker in the address preserves withdrawal if storage fails.
